MY STORY

I was introduced to horses by a chance meeting and sheer luck; Debbi Alexander has had the greatest impact on my life. 

I started working for her in exchange for lessons and through another job (Mim MacDonald) I was able to fund my first horse.

As I obtained my first Horse Cindy Mackey educated me in the art of Dressage. The Sooke Saddle Club led to my friendship with Christina Nash where she promoted horsemanship and off property events both in large horse and Miniature horse.  II had the luxury of working with Cathy White, where her influence kept me straight (Not romanticizing the human horse bond) after an incident which could have been career ending.

 

Since 1996 I have been coached, educated and trained by numerous influences including Marion Weiskopff, John Lyons and many, many others. 

Those with the largest impact have been with me through thick and thin. I am forever grateful for those who have supported me regardless of my circumstances and condition.
