Since 1997 the fanatic intrigue of horses was finite. An underweight retired race horse with one eye changed the life of a 15-year-old girl. I knew this wasn't a passing fancy, I didn't want to change horses when my riding degraded. as a result of his arthritis. At nineteen I made the decision to euthanize my first horse. It wasn't going to end here, I received a call several months later that a horse was in need of immediate relocation and was at risk of SPCA seizure.  What I didn't know was how this would forever change my outlook on the world of horses.
